I am impressed by AF's work recently and I am sorry
that I may fail to folow the progress since I
move to another univ. recently.

Now as suggested by Xiaolin, I forward an essay
soliciting request from USTC and ask for your
help.

USTC News Center is soliciting essays about our
Xiao4 Xun4.(refer to the Chinese
Announcement attached) Mr. Jiaping Jiang, Dean of
the News Center, hopes to get as many
alumni as possible to enrich the competition.
USTC are really looking forward to the input
from our alumni. And they are willing to:

1.Give extension to alumni if they cannot
  submit the essay deadline: Oct.25;

2. For the convenience of alumni, you can
  submit the essay in either English or Chinese.

3. If you can the topic is boring, you can
 talk about the Xiao4 Xun4's effect on you
  in any stories. I think they indicate
  that you can enclose your suggestion to
  USTC under the title, Xiao Xun.

Mr. Jiang Jiaping contacted several times
and talked some of GB members these days.
I can sense USTC's enthusiasm for
alumni's suggestion. So I hope
AF may call for more essays
and use this to transfer our oponion
to USTC leaders and faculty members.

Each of you have done much for USTC and
AF which will make your input about USTC
insightful. Would you spend
one or two hours to write a short essay
for USTCers?  USTC always cherichs
input from alumni and your suggestion may
benefit current USTC students!
I know you are exetremely busy but when talking
about USTC, we have so much to say. Why not
write down and share your suggestion with
our teachers and fellow USTCers?
